Karnataka 2nd PUC Grading System 2024:
The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board follows a grading system for 2nd PUC students. The grading system 2024 is a grade-cum-remark awarding system. According to the performances of students, they are awarded with grade points and remarks. The grades are set differently for the first language and other four subjects. Karnataka 2nd PUC Grading System 2024
Karnataka 2nd PUC Grading System 2024 is grade-cum-remark awarding system , which assesses the performance of the students in the Karnataka 2nd PUC Board Examinations and awards them the grade points and remarks, corresponding to the marks scored. As mentioned, the Department of Pre University Education conducts the 2nd PUC examinations i.e. 12th Board examinations, for six subjects, out of which two are language subjects while the other four are the core subjects from Arts, Science or Commerce stream. To obtain the pass certificate for Karnataka 2nd PUC 2024 examinations, it is mandatory for a student to clear all 6 subjects. The Karnataka 2nd PUC Grading System 2024 for the Second language (Sanskrit, Urdu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Telugu, and Tamil) is different than the grading system for the first language (English) and other three core subjects.

Karnataka 2nd PUC Grading System 2024: Passing Marks
For an Examination requiring a practical assessment, a student has to score a minimum of 25 marks in the theory examinations while he/she has to score at least 11 marks in the practical to secure the minimum passing marks. In the mathematic paper, students need to score a minimum of 35 marks out of 100 to clear the exam. So, this signifies that at least 35% marks are required in aggregate to clear the Karnataka 2nd PUC 2024 examinations. Karnataka 2nd PUC Grading System 2024: Changes Introduced
From the academic year 2023-24, the Karnataka government has decided to bring some changes in both Secondary School Leaving Certificate, SSLC (Karnataka Board class 10) and Second Pre-University Course, 2nd PUC (Karnataka Board class 12) exam system. The first change that it has introduced is from the 3 annual exams to be conducted, students will get a chance to choose the best score among the marks scored in these three attempts. Another change that it has brought under the revised examination system is that there will be no 'supplementary examination' which has been replaced by 'annual examinations 1, 2, and 3'. These changes have been introduced keeoing in view that it can reduce the stress level and competition among the students.
Students who fail to secure the minimum passing marks in the Karnataka PUC 12th Board Examination 2024, will be given an opportunity to appear in the compartment exams and improve their results.
