Tamil Nadu Board Class 10 Grading System 2024: The Directorate of Government Examination (DGE), Tamil Nadu prescribes the TN SSLC Grading system 2024 which is an eight-point-scale grading system . In the TN Class 10th grading system, the highest grade is A1 and the lowest is E. The state board awards grades to its students as per their performance in the TN SSLC results 2024. Grade A1 will be awarded to the students who will score between 91 and 100 marks. Students are required to score a minimum of grade 'D' in all the subjects as well as in the aggregate to pass the TN SSLC exam 2024. DGE is expected to release the Tamil Nadu 10th Result 2024 in the second week of May 2024 online at tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in. The obtained grade along with the marks will be mentioned in the Tamil Nadu class 10 marksheet 2024 .
The Tamil Nadu SSLC exam 2024 had been concluded on April 8, 2024. The Tamil Nadu 10th Result 2024 will tentatively be released in the second week of May 2024. The new system introduced was the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) System which laid stress over the grades and the periodic performance throughout an academic year, rather than the final assessment based on yearly exams. Tamil Nadu Board Class 10 Grading System 2024
The Tamil Nadu Board Grading System 2024 is an eight-point-scale grading system, ranging from A1, followed by A2, B1, and so on to E. The Tamil Nadu Grading System helps to assess the students based on their performance in Class 10 Board Examinations. According to the Tamil Nadu Board Grading System 2024, a student is awarded the grade and grade points, corresponding to the marks scored by him/her in that particular subject. An aggregate Grade is also conferred to the student by calculating the aggregate score of all subjects.

The Tamil Nadu Board Examination 2024 is conducted for 6 subjects, which include 2 language Subjects and 4 Electives. The table given below represents the Subjects and the time allotted to complete the exams.

The Maximum marks for each subject are 100. Out of these 100, Written examinations will be conducted on 70 marks while the practicals and the internals hold 30 marks. The medium of the Question Paper will be Tamil and English. Students are also permitted to write the answers in these languages only.
Tamil Nadu Board Class 10 Grading System 2024: Passing Criteria
Students will need to score at least 35 marks out of 100 marks in each subject to pass. Only the students with 35 and above marks will be considered passed. The marks for internal assessment, practical, and theory will all be included together. Tamil Nadu Board Class 10 Grading System 2024: Result Revaluation
After the DGE Tamil Nadu releases the results, there might be some students who would not be satisfied with their results. They feel that they would have scored more marks than what has been awarded to them. Such students can avail the facility of the Tamil Nadu Result Revaluation. The students need to make sure that they first apply for the scanned copies of the answer sheets. After demanding the scanned copies, students can further apply for Tamil Nadu 2024 Result Revaluation by paying ₹505 per subject as the revaluation fees. The revaluation will be processed in 10-15 working days by the concerned authorities.
Tamil Nadu Board Class 10 Grading System 2024: Compartment Exams
The minimum mark required to pass the Tamil Nadu Board Exam 2024 is 35%. But, if a student fails to secure 35% in any subject or aggregate, he/she will have to appear for the Tamil Nadu Board Compartment Exams 2024 to improve the score and ultimately claim for the Tamil Nadu Board Passing Certificate. The Schedule for the Tamil Nadu Board Compartment Exams 2024 is yet to be released and they are expected to take place in June 2024.
