How to Convert Assam HS CGPA into Marks?
Through the CGPA to marks calculator tool students can convert their CGPA into a corresponding percentage of marks. Like many boards, the AHSEC board also uses CGPA to represent overall academic performance of a student. Students if want to calculate the marks for a subject, they can multiply the grade points of that particular subject by 9.5.
Follow the steps provided below to convert a CGPA into marks:
- To get the percentage, multiply the CGPA by 9.5
- Now divide the percentage by 100
- The result that you will get, multiply it by the total marks secured in all subjects
- The number you will receive is the total marks obtained.
For Example, The calculation for a CGPA of 6 would be:
- 6 × 9.5 = 57%
Now calculate the total marks:
- The percentage that students just calculated that should be taken (in this case, it is 57%) and divide it by 100.
- Then multiply the number by the total marks across all subjects.
For Example, If you have six subjects in total with a total of 500 marks, the calculation would be:
(57/100) × 500 = 285
Result: The total marks will be 285 out of 500 f or a CGPA of 6 .
