Bihar Board Class 12 Geography Exam Pattern 2024-25:
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) prescribes the Bihar Board 12th Geography blueprint for the arts stream students. Same as last year, the BSEB 12th Geography paper will have 50% multiple-choice questions, for 1 mark each, and 50% subjective types questions. BSEB 12th Geography has both theory and practicals and will only have 35 MCQs in the theory paper. The Bihar Board Class 12 Geography exam will be conducted for a total of 100 marks, out of which 70 marks will be for the theory exam, and 30 marks for the practical exam. In BSEB 12th Arts stream students need to select six subjects, which include two language papers and other subjects specified under the list of Humanities. Bihar Board Class 12 Geography is one of the major subjects for the BSEB 12th Arts students. As per the revised marking scheme released by the board, if a student fails a compulsory subject in the exam, the marks he/she got in the additional subject will be taken into account. The maximum marks allotted for the Bihar Board Class 12 Geography Exam are 100 marks. The theory paper will carry 70 marks. The BSEB Class 12 Geography syllabus is divided into two sections, Section A: Fundamentals of Human Geography: Human Geography and Section B: People & Economy: People. Bihar Board Class 12 Geography Practical Blueprint 2024-25
The Bihar Board Class 12 Arts exam will be conducted for a total of 3 hours and 15 minutes. The Bihar Board Class 12 Geography Practical paper will be held for 30 marks. Out of 30 marks, students need to score at least 12 marks to pass the practical exam. Bihar Board Class 12 Geography Question Paper Pattern 2024-25
The Bihar Board Class 12 Geography Question Paper will consist of a total of 70+20+6=96 questions including MCQs, very short answer type, short answer type and long answer type questions. The Bihar Board Class 12 Geography question paper 2025 is divided into two sections - Section A will consist of objective questions and Section B will have subjective questions. In Section A, there will be 70 objective type questions, out of which any 35 questions are to be answered. Each question will carry 1 mark. Section B contains 20 short answer type questions, each carrying 2 marks, out of which 10 questions are to be answered. Apart from these, there are 6 long answer type questions, each carrying 5 marks, out of which any 3 questions are to be answered.The question paper pattern of the Bihar Board Class 12 Geography exam 2025 is given below:
