Bihar Board Passing Marks for Class 12th 2025: Bihar Board follows a set of guidelines to mark students. The board follows a standard for minimum passing marks. The students have to achieve the minimum passing marks in all subjects to qualify the exam. For each subject, the marks will be considered for both theory and practical exams. In theory exams of 70 marks, students need to score at least 21 marks and in practical exams of 30 marks, they require 12 marks. It is necessary to pass the theory and practical exam individually. Overall, the students need to score at least 30 marks out of 100 marks to pass the exam.
As per the stream chosen by students, there will be different subjects. The Science students will have more practical exams in comparison to others. Bihar Board 12th Division System 2025
The Bihar board follows a division system and students achieve the divisions according to the marks scored by them. Check out the points below to get an idea of the division system followed by the board.
There are 5 subjects in total and students have to appear for 500 marks in total.
Out of 500 marks, students who score 300 marks will be awarded with the first division.
If students score between 225 and 300 marks, they will get the second division.
The students who score between 150 and 225 marks will be awarded with the third division.
Out of 500, students who score below 150 marks will have to appear for the compartment exam.
