CGBSE Class 12 Revaluation 2025 - Check Chhattisgarh Board 12th Revaluation Process, How to Apply

CGBSE Class 12 Revaluation 2025 application is now open. The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education has announced that you can apply for revaluation or rechecking within 15 days from the date of the result declaration. The application form for both the services will be available on the official website at cgbse.nic.in. You can either apply for rechecking, which includes checking the total number of marks achieved by the students to see whether or not there are any calculation mistakes. You can also apply for revaluation, which includes rechecking of the entire answer book and providing a photocopy of the answer book.

The application fees for rechecking are only INR 100, while for revaluation, it is INR 500. As per the official notice, students from tribal and Naxal-affected districts such as Bijapur, Jagdalpur, Dantewada, Kanker, Kondagaon, Narayanpur, Sukma, Balrampur, Rajnandgaon, Khairagarh, and Manpur Mohla will receive a 50 percent concession in the revaluation fee. CGBSE Class 12 Rechecking 2025

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education provides an option for the students to apply for rechecking, during which the calculation of the total number of marks achieved by the students will be checked again. During this procedure, only the calculation mistakes are checked. It is also checked whether or not all answers are evaluated by the examiners. You can apply for rechecking if you have doubts regarding your total number of marks getting mis-calculated. The application fee to apply for rechecking is only INR 100. However, the scope for this procedure is very narrow.

Another option provided by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education is revaluation, during which the entire answer book will be checked again by the examiners. New examiners will be appointed by CGBSE, and those examiners will check the answer books again. You have to pay an application fee of INR 500 per subject to apply for this procedure. The application for the procedure must be filled out through the official website of CGBSE at cgbse.nic.in. The board further informed that in the revaluation process, if the new average score assigned by two examiners shows a 10 percent or more increase over the original score, only then will the revised marks be accepted. However, no marks will be reduced. In rechecking, all changes will be valid.

CGBSE Class 12 Revaluation 2025 Guidelines

The CGBSE board has outlined specific guidelines for the recalculation and re-evaluation of answer sheets. Key details of the process are as follows:

• You can apply for either revaluation, rechecking, or both, but only one or two processes can be selected.
• The application for revaluation and rechecking must be submitted online via the official CGBSE website.
• Candidates from districts like Bijapur, Jagdalpur, Dantwada, Kanker, Kondagaon, Narayanpur, Sukma, Balrampur, and Manipur Mohal are eligible for a 50% fee exemption for revaluation.
• Candidates applying for a photocopy of their answer sheet will not be given an additional 15 days for revaluation applications. The revaluation request must be made within 15 days of receiving the answer script.
• The answer scripts will be sent to candidates. There will be no separate time for revaluation applications; they must apply immediately after receiving the photocopy.
• During the revaluation, the answer sheet will be assessed by two evaluators. Marks will only be increased if the average increase is 10% or more of the original marks.
• No marks will be deducted in the revaluation process. If the marks decrease, candidates will retain their previous scores.
• In the rechecking process, no change in marks will be accepted, whether the score increases or decreases.
• Fees paid for rechecking or revaluation are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• A revised mark sheet will be uploaded once all the revaluation and rechecking processes are completed.

CGBSE Class 12 Revaluation Marksheet 2025

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education will release a revised marksheet after the announcement of the revaluation results. Regular students can contact their school authorities to obtain the original marksheets. Private students will get their new marksheet from their forwarding institution after they return the old one. According to the official announcement, forwarding institutions must make sure that all applications are entered correctly online and fix any mistakes within the allotted period. If a student applies for more than one service, they will be charged a service fee of Rs 10 for each rechecking application and Rs 20 for revaluation or photocopy applications.
