The grades are provided according to the marks secured by students. Students who score marks between 91 to 100 are given an A1 grade. Similarly, there are other grades set according to marks. Chhattisgarh Class 12 Division System 2025
The original marksheet which will be distributed among the students through the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education will include the overall division. Students can check out the division system that will be followed by CGBSE here:
- Students who score more than 60% marks overall will be awarded the first division.
- Students who score more than 50% marks but less than 60% marks will be awarded with the second division.
- Lastly, students who scored less than 50% marks will be awarded with the third division.
Chhattisgarh Class 12 Grading System 2025: How To Calculate Percentage?
After the declaration of the results, students can go forward and calculate their percentage based on the number of marks that they have achieved in the different subjects. Follow the simple procedure given below to calculate your percentage easily:
- Step 1: Add the marks that you have achieved in all the subjects.
- Step 2: Divide the sum with the number of subjects. The result will be your percentage. You can now easily calculate your division using your percentage.
Chhattisgarh Class 12 Passing Criteria 2025
Students need to score at least 33% marks in each subject. They must also score 33% in aggregate to pass the Chhattisgarh Class 12th Exam 2025. Students scoring the highest marks will get an A1 grade and the students with the lowest marks will get an E grade. Each subject is of 100 marks, out of which 70 marks are assigned to theory and 30 to practical marks. Students need to perform well throughout to get a good score. No negative marking will be there for incorrect answers. Students who could not get the required passing marks in CG board Class 12 exams, would be provided a second chance. They can fill in the registration form for the compartment exams and appear for the subjects that they could not clear in regular board exams.

The practical for English, Hindi, History, Sociology, Economics, and Political Science will be for 20 marks. Whereas, the practical for Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, and Psychology will be for 30 marks.
