The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) follows a 9 point scale grading system that ranges from from A1 to E2. Here A1 is the highest grade that is given when a student secure marks between 91–100 marks. While E2 is the lowest grade which is given when anyone scores 20 marks and below. It is mandatory to score at least a grade of "D" in all subjects as well as in aggregate to pass the GSEB SSC exam. That is, the minimum qualifying marks are 33% marks. Step 1: The percentile has to be subtracted from 100 marks
