ICSE Class 10 Revaluation 2025 : The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will release the notification for re-evaluation and rechecking of Class 10 ICSE Board Exam 2025 answer scripts in May 2025. The application form will be available on the official CISCE website. Previously, the CISCE board only offered rechecking of answer scripts, which involved verifying the accuracy of mark totals and ensuring all answers were marked and transferred to the first page. However, starting from the 2024 board examinations, the board has introduced the option of re-evaluation in addition to rechecking. This new provision allows students to request a more thorough review of their answer scripts.

Students dissatisfied with their ICSE 10th Result 2025 can apply for revaluation. The board will announce specific dates for submitting revaluation forms online. Students must fill out the form accurately, selecting the subjects they want re-evaluated and paying the required fee. The board will announce the revaluation results within a few days. After rechecking, if the student still wishes to proceed with revaluation, the examiner evaluates the answer sheet again. During this process, the answer sheet is evaluated by a different examiner, and the revised marks are communicated to the student. Regardless of any changes in marks, the revaluation result will be final. The ISC Class 10 result will be announced on the official website of the CISCE. Along with the Board Results, the Council will also open the link for application to rechecking and revaluation of the answer sheets. The dates regarding rechecking are as follows:

ICSE Class 10 Rechecking 2025: How to Apply?

After the results of ICSE Class 10 are released, students who are not satisfied with their ICSE Class 10 result can apply for rechecking of answer scripts and re-evaluation of answer scripts on the official website of the council. The Steps to apply for the scrutiny process are as follows:

• Visit the CISCE Website: Head to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations website at https://cisce.org/.
• Locate the Notification Section: Look for the "Notifications" section on the CISCE homepage.
• Find the Re-evaluation Application: Once in the notifications, search for and click the link titled "ICSE/ISC Rechecking and Re-evaluation Form 2025" (or similar wording for the specific year).
• Register for Re-evaluation: Enter the required credentials and complete the registration process for rechecking and re-evaluation of your board results.
• Select Subjects and Pay Fees: After successful registration, you'll be able to choose the subject(s) you want re-evaluated and pay the application fee for each subject.
• Submit Application: Once you've selected subjects and paid the fees, finalize the process by clicking the "Submit" button.

ICSE Class 10 Rechecking and Re-evaluation Fees 2025

Students who wish to apply for rechecking or re-evaluation of their ICSE Class 10 Board Exam results will need to pay a fee. The CISCE charges INR 1000 per subject for rechecking and INR 1500 per subject for re-evaluation. Once the payment for rechecking is made, it is generally non-refundable. However, in the event of a change in the candidate's grade or marks, a refund will be processed. The refund will be issued to the same payment instrument used for the original rechecking fee. The Rechecking Results for ICSE and ISC is expected in 10 – 12 days within the application.

ICSE Class 10 Revaluation and Rechecking Guidelines

Rechecking Scope:

• Verification of whether all answers have been marked.
• Checking for errors in the totaling of marks for each question and their transfer to the answer booklet's first page.
• Ensuring the integrity of continuation sheets attached to the answer booklet.

Limitations of Rechecking:

• No re-evaluation of the candidate's work or answer script will be conducted.
• The answer scripts and related documents are confidential and cannot be disclosed or inspected.

Rechecking Procedure:

• A competent person appointed by the CISCE Chief Executive and Secretary will carry out the rechecking process.
• If errors are found, the marks will be revised accordingly.
• The revised marks, if any, will be communicated online to the school head or candidate.

Important Considerations:

• The Council is not liable for any losses or inconveniences arising from mark revisions.
• Candidates with revised grades/marks must submit their original Statement of Marks and/or Pass Certificate to their school for replacement.
• Schools will forward these documents to the CISCE for replacement.
• Replaced documents will be issued to the candidates through their respective schools.

ICSE Class 10 Revaluation Result 2025

The Council of the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) will release the  CISCE 2025 Rechecking Result in first week of June 2025. Once the ICSE class 10 revaluation results 2025 are declared, you can check them by following these steps:

• Visit the official website of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) at https://www.cisce.org/.
• Click on the "Results" tab on the homepage.
• Select the "Re-evaluation" option from the dropdown menu.
• Enter your course code, candidate UID, and the captcha code.
• Click on the "Show Result" button.
• The reevaluation result will be displayed on the screen.
• Download and take a printout of the result for future reference.
