ICSE Passing Marks for Class 10th 2025:
As per the modifications introduced by the Council in the pass marks criteria for ICSE Class 10th exam 2025, students are required to obtain 33% instead of 35% to qualify for the ICSE Exam. To achieve the pass certificate, students therefore need to score a minimum of 35% in 5 out of 6 subjects. However, it must be noted that, in an overall aggregate mark, students have to score at least 33%. The marks calculation of ICSE Class 10 exam 2025 will be based on internal and external assessments. The internal assessment will account for 25% of the total marks and will be carried out by the schools. Whereas, the external assessments, which will be conducted by the ICSE Board, will carry a total of 75% of the exam.

The CISCE Board prescribes the ICSE 10th grading system 2025 which ranges from A1 to E. Students will need to acquire an E grade and above in every subject. Students must be aware of the subject-wise ICSE class 10th passing marks. The Council has set the ICSE class 10 passing marks 2025 based on the subject-wise assessment and overall aggregate. Students are advised to go through the passing criteria mentioned by the ICSE authorities given below to get information about the minimum passing marks:- Students will have to appear for 6 subjects in the ICSE exam.
- Students should pass 5 out of 6 subjects with a minimum of 35 marks in all the subjects.
- English being the compulsory subject to be included in the best of 5.
