ICSE Passing Marks for Class 10th 2025:
As per the modifications introduced by the Council in the pass marks criteria for ICSE Class 10th exam 2025, students are required to obtain 33% instead of 35% to qualify for the ICSE Exam. To achieve the pass certificate, students therefore need to score a minimum of 35% in 5 out of 6 subjects. However, it must be noted that, in an overall aggregate mark, students have to score at least 33%. The marks calculation of ICSE Class 10 exam 2025 will be based on internal and external assessments. The internal assessment will account for 25% of the total marks and will be carried out by the schools. Whereas, the external assessments, which will be conducted by the ICSE Board, will carry a total of 75% of the exam.

The CISCE Board prescribes the ICSE 10th grading system 2025 which ranges from A1 to E. Students will need to acquire an E grade and above in every subject. A pass certificate will be issued to those candidates who will appear for 6 subjects and receive pass marks in at least five of them, including English. The ICSE 10th Grading System follows a 9-scale where Grades 1 and 2 reflect very good performance. However, Grades 3–5 suggest a pass with credit, grades 6–7 indicate just a pass, and 8 and beyond means a failure. ICSE Passing Marks for Class 10th 2025: Subject-wise
Students must be aware of the subject-wise ICSE class 10th passing marks. Students will appear for a total of 6 subjects including English, Second Language, Mathematics, Sicence, Social Science, and 6th subject. Students will have to get 35 out of 100 marks in each subject. The ICSE passing marks out of 80 is 26, and out of 40 in ICSE is 13 marks.

Students are advised to go through the passing criteria mentioned by the ICSE authorities given below to get information about the minimum passing marks:- Students will have to appear for 6 subjects in the ICSE exam.
- Students should pass 5 out of 6 subjects with a minimum of 35 marks in all the subjects.
- English being the compulsory subject to be included in the best of 5.

ICSE 10th Grading System 2025 consists of two parts: Internal and External examinations.
Grading System of External Examination
In the external examination, students' performance in a subject is evaluated by a grade, with Grade 1 being the highest and Grade 9 the lowest. However, only from Grades 1 to 7 will be recorded on the marksheets and certificates, highlighting the distinctions for higher performance.

Grading System of Internal Examination
In the internal assessment, which includes Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) and Community Service, students' performance is assessed by a letter grade. Grade A is the highest grade, and Grade E is the lowest. Only Grades A to D are displayed on certificates to highlight satisfactory performance.
