ISC Class 12 Mathematics Exam Pattern 2024-25 is available on the official website cisce.org. ISC Class 12 Mathematics subject is divided into three sections, Section A, Section B, and Section C. Section A which will carry 65 marks is compulsory for all students. The choice will be given of attempting questions between Section B or Section C. Section A will cover 4 chapters where Calculus will carry the highest marks weightage. Section B or Section C will carry 15 marks and have 3 chapters each. Students will be given 3 hours for the theory paper and 1 hour for the internal assessment/project work. Students can also check ISC Class 12 Math syllabus 2024-25 here.

Last year, some modifications were introduced in the ISC Class 12 Mathematics Blueprint as per which, students will get more HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills) and critical thinking questions in the ISC 12th Board exam 2025. The Council will conduct the ISC Class 12 Mathematics exam 2025 for 100 marks, out of which 80 marks will be allotted for the theory exam, and 20 marks will be based on the internal assessment. ISC Class 12 Mathematics Exam Pattern 2024-25

The ISC Class 12 Mathematics theory syllabus is divided into three sections A, B, and C. Students must note that Section A is compulsory for all, however, they have a choice of attempting questions either from Section B or Section C. Check ISC Class 12 Mathematics Blueprint 2024-25 here.

SECTION A: 65 MARKS

ISC Class 12 Mathematics Practical/Project Blueprint 2024-25

The ISC Class 12 Mathematics Practical Exam 2025 will be conducted for a total of 20 marks. CISCE will not set paper for the ISC Class 12 Mathematics Practical Exam. Schools are responsible for preparing the papers. Candidates will be expected to complete two projects, one from Section A and another one from either Section B or Section C. The project work will be evaluated by the subject teacher and a Visiting Examiner appointed locally and approved by the Council. ISC Class 12 Mathematics Question Paper Pattern 2024-25

As per ISC Class 12 Mathematics exam pattern, the theory paper will be conducted for three hours duration of 80 marks. The Section A (65 Marks) will be compulsory for all students. In this section, there will be an internal choice for two questions for two marks, two questions for four marks, and two questions for six marks each. In Section B or Section C (15 Marks), students will have to attempt all questions either from Section B or Section C. Internal choice will be given in a question of two marks and another question of four marks.
All the students should start their preparation from now onwards. All science stream students must obtain at least 35% in ISC 12th Math exam to pass the exam. The ISC 12th Result 2025 is likely to be released in May 2025.
