JAC 12th Grading System 2025 includes 4 different divisions. Students who score more than 75% marks as an aggregate will be provided with the distinction division. There are also 5 grades included in the grading system releasing from A+ to D. The overall marks provided for the curriculum are 500. Students who score more than 375 marks will be awarded with the distinction division which will be reflected in their marksheet. The minimum passing marks of the board exams are 33% which are to be scored by the students individually in every subject along with theory and practical exams. JAC 12th Result 2025 will be declared in May 2025.

The online result which will be available on the official website of JAC will be provisional. The original JAC 12th Marksheet 2025 will be distributed among the students one week after the result declaration. JAC 12th Passing Marks 2025

How To Calculate Percentage Using JAC 12th Grading System 2025?

Students can calculate their percentage by using the grading system followed by JAC. Follow the simple steps given below to easily calculate your percentage by using your overall score:

  • Step 1: You need to first add all the marks that you have received in the different subjects included in the curriculum. Make sure that your calculation is accurate.
  • Step 2: Now, you need to divide the total sum by the number of subjects. The product will be your overall percentage.

JAC 12th Provision for Grace Marks 2025

To make it easy for them, the Jharkhand Board provides grace marks to students. The ones who fail by a small margin can be promoted based on certain criteria. Check out the points that provide grace marks to students:

  • If a student fails in a subject by less than 5%, he/she will be given the grace marks to pass the subject.
  • If a student fails in two subjects by less than 3% in each subject, he/she will be provided with grace marks in both subjects.
  • The students who have not availed any marks by availing the above-mentioned conditions and miss a higher division by not more than five marks shall be given the minimum marks necessary for securing the higher division. However, the position in the higher division shall be determined based on the original marks secured by the candidate.

JAC 12th Compartment Exams 2025

Students who fail to secure the minimum passing marks will have to sit for the compartment exams. The minimum passing marks for the compartment exams are same the as that of the main exams. The application form for the compartment exam will be filled out by the students with the help of their school authorities. JAC 12th Result 2025 will be released in May 2025. The result link will be activated on the official website of the Jharkhand Academic Council.
