MP Board Class 10 Science Exam Pattern 2024-25: In the previous year, the state board made some changes in the MPBSE 10th exam pattern as per the New Education Policy. According to MP Board 10th Science Blueprint 2025, the percentage of objective, subjective, and analytical questions will be 40:40:20. There will be 1 mark of objective type questions, 2 and 3 marks of short or subjective questions, and 4 marks of analytical or long answer type questions. MP Board Class 10 Science Syllabus 2024-25 covers a total of 13 chapters, where the Biological Process and Light Reflection and Refraction carry the maximum weightage of 8 marks. Other than that, the marking weightage of all other chapters is equally distributed. The MP Board 10th Science exam will be conducted for 100 marks, out of which 75 marks will be allotted for the theory paper and the remaining 25 marks are given based on internal assessment.

The MP Board Class 10 Science paper is one of the compulsory subjects, apart from 2 other subjects. The MP Board 10th Time Table 2025 will be released in July 2024 tentatively. Students can expect the MPBSE 10th exam 2025 to be conducted in February 2025, and the practicals in March 2025. The time duration for the MP Board 10th Science theory exam will be 3 hours. While for the practical exams, the time duration will be 2 hours. MP Board Class 10 Science Question Paper Pattern 2024-25

The state board will follow the same pattern for the MP Board 10th Science Question Paper Pattern 2024 as given below.
  • All Questions in the MP Board Class 10 Science Question Paper are compulsory.
  • Question Numbers 1 to 5 are objective-type questions that are further subdivided. This section will carry 1×30=30 marks in total, where each sub part will carry 1 mark. The sub parts are:
  • Question No.1 consists of the Choose correct option type (MCQs) carrying a total of 06 marks.
  • Question No.2 comprises Fill in the blanks carrying 06 marks.
  • Question No.3 will include True/False and worth 06 marks.
  • Question No.4 will have a Correct match that will carry 06 marks
  • Question No.5 will consist of 12 very short answer type questions (answer in one sentence) and will carry 2 marks each.
  • Questions No.6 to 17 will have 12 short answer type Questions of 3 marks each and the answer should be written in about 75 words each.
  • Questions No.18 to 20 will have long answer type questions carrying 4 marks each and the answer should be written in about 120 words each.
