Nagaland HSLC Grading System 2025 : The Nagaland Board of Secondary Education (NBSE) prescribes NBSE HSLC grading system 2025 which follows 9-scale grading system. The state board prepares NBSE results, where students are scored on a scale of grades A1 to E1. Grade ‘A1’ is the highest grade and ‘E1’ is the lowest. Students appearing for the NBSE HSLC Exam 2025 must score a passing grade of ‘D’ in each subject to pass the board exams. As per the previous year the exam dates will be announced in December 2024 and the exams will be conducted in February 2025. The NBSE HSLC Exam 2025 includes 5 major subjects and one additional subject, Language I (First Language-English), Language II (Second Language) options including Alternative English, Bengali, Hindi, Lotha, Sumi, and Tenyidie (candidate has to appear for only one paper). Students who fail to achieve qualifying marks in the internal assessment will not be permitted to appear for the external exams. Successful candidates will receive original mark sheets and pass certificates. Any errors in these documents must be reported within 30 days of the publication of the Result Gazette for correction.
To be eligible for the final examination, students must maintain a minimum of 80% attendance.

Nagaland HSLC Grading System 2025: Exam Pattern
The Nagaland Board of Secondary Education (NBSE) releases the Nagaland HSLC exam pattern along with the syllabus and sample papers for the students. Students will be appearing for 7 papers and 18 subjects in the NBSE HSLC exam 2025. Candidates of class 10th Nagaland board can choose either English or one of the many Indian languages as one of the compulsory subjects in the NBSE HSLC exam. Nagaland HSLC Passing Marks 2025
The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has set the passing marks for the 10th grade exams in 2025 at a minimum of 33% in each subject. Students who fail to meet the required passing marks for the HSLC exams will have the opportunity to appear for the compartment exams to improve their results.

Nagaland HSLC Grading System 2025: Re-valuation
The Nagaland board will provide an opportunity for the students who are dissatisfied with their marks obtained in NBSE HSLC Result 2025. Students can apply for the scrutiny in an online mode in July 2025 tentatively. The revaluation application has to be sent to the Nagaland board’s email ID. It must be noted that application forms should be sent through the school or their respective centers. Students must pay Rs. 500 per subject as re-scrutiny fees and Rs. 1000 per subject as re-scrutiny fees per subject. The results of NBSE HSLC re-scrutiny will be announced 40 days after the declaration of the Nagaland Board 10th result.
NBSE HSLC Compartmental Exam 2025
The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) conducts a supplementary exam for students who do not pass in a few subjects. This serves as a second opportunity to improve their performance. The supplementary exam is tentatively scheduled for August 2025, and the results are expected to be released in September 2025.
