, the board also declared the total number of students who passed, pass percentage, gender-wise, district-wise, and stream-wise TN HSE result statistics. This year, the overall pass percentage stood at 94.56 percent. Out of the total 7,60,606 candidates who appeared in the Tamil Nadu Class 12 exam, 7,19,196 passed. 4,08,440 were female students and 3,52,165 male students who appeared for the exam.

In the previous academic year 2023, the TN HSC Result 2023 was released on May 8, 2023 at 9.30 AM on the official website with an overall pass percentage of 94.03%. The pass percentage of girls was 96.38%, whereas that of boys was 91.45%. A total of 9 lakh students appeared for the TN Class 12th exam 2023, out of which 7,55,451 passed the exam.
