UP Board Class 12 Sociology Exam Pattern 2024-25 is now available to be downloaded from the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad. Only one theory paper will be conducted in Sociology which will be of 100 marks in total. The Sociology subject is divided into two parts and both parts carry equal weight. Students are required to get passing marks in the theory paper to be eligible to get the passing certificate. They are advised to complete the UP Board Class 12 Sociology Syllabus on time to have enough time for the revision.
Students can download the latest UP Board Class 12 Model Paper as well to revise for the exams accordingly. The model test papers will help the students to identify the format of the question paper and the commonly asked topics included in the exams. UP Board Class 12 Sociology Question Paper Blueprint 2024-25
Students must have information about the format that will be followed by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad to frame the question paper during the exam. Students can check the format from the pointers given below:
- The duration of the question paper will be three hours and 15 minutes.
- The students must attempt all the questions.
- Questions number 1 to 10 are multiple-choice questions.
- Questions No. 11 to 20 are very short answer questions, each answer is to be given in approximately 25 words.
- Questions No. 21 to 26 are short answer type questions that have to be answered in approximately 50 words each.
- Questions No. 27 to 29 are long answer type questions, Each answer is to be given in approximately 150 words
