West Bengal HS Passing Marks for Theory and Practical 2025 are 30%. Recently, some major changes were made in the curriculum by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. From the latest academic year, the board exams will be conducted in two semesters for class 12th. Similarly, the 11th class exams will also be divided into two different semesters. To pass the board exams, students are required to score a minimum of 30% marks in both theory and practical papers conducted in both semesters. Students are required to score the minimum passing marks in two language papers along with three elective main papers. For subjects with a practical component, you must score 30% marks in theory along with practical exams. The passing criteria of the students will be mentioned in their West Bengal HS Result 2025 .

Only the students who achieve the minimum passing marks in both semesters will get their West Bengal HS Marksheet 2025 . The marksheet will be distributed through the respective school premises. Usually, the theory papers will be conducted for 70 or 80 marks depending upon the practical component of the subject.
