CHSE Odisha Class 12th Grading System 2025 is prescribed by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha . It follows a 9-point grading system that ranges from grade A1 to E2, wherein A1 is the highest and E2 is the lowest grade. Students who score more than 91% marks in every subject will be provided with the highest which is an A1 grade. Students will required to obtain a minimum of a 'D' grade in each subject and in aggregate to pass the exam. The board will declare the Odisha Plus Two Results in May 2025 tentatively on the official website of CHSE Odisha.

The Council of Higher Secondary Education, (CHSE) Odisha released the Odisha CHSE Time Table 2025 on November 20, 2024, on the official website -chseodisha.nic.in. The exams will be conducted from February 18 to March 27, 2025 . Students will be able to check the result on chseodisha.nic.in and orissaresults.nic.in. Students will be required to provide information such as roll number and date of birth etc. to check the result online. Odisha CHSE Class 12 Marking Scheme 2025

Odisha CHSE Class 12th Passing Marks 2025

A new question paper pattern was released by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha. According to the latest curriculum, a few changes are also recorded in the passing marks for class 12th students. Refer to the information about the passing marks from the pointers given below:

  • For subjects with a practical component, the theory paper will be conducted for 70 marks and 30 marks will be provided for the practical exam.
  • For subjects with a project component, the theory paper will be conducted for 80 marks and 20 marks will be allotted for the project.
  • For integrated vocational subjects, the theory paper will be conducted for 50 marks and 50 marks will be allotted for the practical exam.
  • For vocational trade subjects, the theory paper will be conducted for 40 marks and 60 marks will be provided for the practical paper.
  • To pass, students have to score at least 24 marks out of the total 80 marks allotted for the theory exams that is at least 30% marks irrespective of the marks scored in the internal assessment.
  • In vocational subjects where the full marks allotted for the theory exams are 40, students are required to score 12 marks to pass which is 30% marks of the full marks irrespective of the marks obtained in practical/internal assessment.

Odisha CHSE Class 12th Revaluation 2025

The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha will release the CHSE Odisha class 12 science, commerce, and arts theory re-checking, and re-addition results in June 2025 tentatively. Students who will not be satisfied with their marks in the CHSE Odisha Class 12th exam can apply for revaluation or re-totaling of their marks. Students can apply for the CHSE Odisha 12th revaluation online or through their school with an application fee of INR 200 per subject. The results of the CHSE Odisha revaluation will be released after a few days. Students can check the results through the link available on the official website. Whose marks will change as per the revaluation results must note that the revised marksheets will be provided by the board separately.

How to calculate the percentage by using the CHSE Odisha Class 12th Grading System 2025?

To calculate your percentage after the release of Odisha 12th Result, you need to first add all the marks that you have obtained in the different subjects combining both practical/internal assessment and theory papers. Now you have to divide the total by the number of subjects and the results will be your percentage. You can also calculate your CGPA by multiplying the percentage with 9.5. 

Are there any new changes made to the CHSE Odisha Class 12th Grading System 2025?

No new changes have been recorded in the CHSE Odisha Class 12th Grading System 2025 however a new passing criteria was introduced by CHSE recently. Subjects with practical components will have a theory paper for 70 marks and subjects without practical components will have theory papers for 80 marks out of which students are required to score 30% marks to pass.
