Bihar Board Passing Marks for Class 10 2025: In Bihar board 10th exams 2025, students need to score at least 30% marks in every subject. The students with less than 30 marks out of 100 marks will not get the pass status. Some subjects will include a practical and theory exam. The board will consider the total marks of both exams but it is mandatory for students to pass the theory as well as practical exams. The students should score the passing marks in all 5 subjects. The students with 150 marks in total will only be allowed to get enrolled in class 11th. In case students fail to obtain 30% marks in a subject, they can appear for the compartment exams. They can appear for a maximum of 2 subjects in compartment exams. It is necessary for students to score the passing marks in the Bihar Board 10th Exam 2025. Read the following points to understand the marking scheme in detail.

  • The students must secure at least 30 marks out of 100 marks in each subject to get the pass status. These marks will be a total of practical and theory exams. Overall, there are 5 subjects in total and some subjects do not include a practical exam.
  • If a student fails to achieve 30 marks in a subject but the overall score of 5 subjects is 150 marks or above, they will have to appear for the compartment exam of that particular subject.
  • The students can only appear for two subjects in compartment exams.
  • In case, students fail in four or all subjects, they will not be allowed to sit for the compartment exams. In this case, students will have to repeat the academic year and appear for the exams in the next year.
