CBSE Class 10 Social Science Previous Year Question Paper: The Central Board of Secondary Education releases the CBSE Class 10 Social Science Previous Year Question Paper PDF for download on its official website- cbseacademic.nic.in. Students can also find the year-wise Social Science Previous Year Question Paper on this page. Before solving the question papers, students must complete the CBSE Class 10 Social Science Syllabus 2024-25 . Practicing the CBSE Board 10th Social Science Question Paper 2025 will allow the students to know about the latest question paper pattern and the difficulty level of the questions. Students will also come to know about the marks weightage of the topics and chapters of the subject. The duration of the paper will be three hours and 15 minutes will be allotted to the students to read the question paper. The question paper will include MCQs along with very short answer-type questions.
The CBSE class 10 social science question paper will consist of 6 sections. A total of 37 questions will be included in the question paper. It is compulsory to attempt all the questions. The total number of marks allotted for the paper is 80 marks. Students will also be attempting case studies along with very long answer-type questions. Map-based questions will carry 5 marks with two parts. There is no overall choice in the question paper however there is internal choice provided in a few questions. 50% weightage will be provided to the competency-based question as per the latest update in the CBSE 10th Syllabus.
