CBSE Class 12 Geography Deleted Syllabus 2024-25: Class 12 Geography syllabus 2024-25 is reduced by 30%. The board has deleted the syllabus to lessen the burden on students. Some of the chapters, such as Population Composition, Manufacturing Industries, Use of Computer in Data Processing and Mapping, and more are deleted from the syllabus. To prepare for the board exams, students can go through the updated CBSE Class 12 Geography Syllabus 2024-25 .  The practical part has also been reduced. Chapter 4  which includes Use of Computer in Data Processing and Mapping and Field Surveys respectively have been deleted completely from CBSE Class 12 Geography.

The syllabus is divided into 2 books, Fundamental of Human Geography and India People and Economy, which include 17 units. Students will get questions of 35 marks each from the books. From each of the books, 10 marks are dedicated to map-based questions. In addition to the theory exam, there will be a practical exam of 30 marks. CBSE Class 12 Geography Syllabus 2024-25

The geography exam will be taken in theory and practical form. The theory exam will be for 70 marks and the practical will be for 30 marks. Both the books will carry questions worth 35 marks. After the removal of chapters such as Population Composition, Migration: Types, Causes, and Consequences, and Human Development from the CBSE class 12 Geography, it is easier for students to prepare the Geography syllabus. Students can check the additional advantages of eliminating some of the geography syllabus listed below:
