CBSE Class 10, 12 Date Sheet 2025 - The Central Board of Secondary Education released the CBSE Board exam date 2025 for classes 10 ans 12 on November 20, 2024 on the official website at cbse.nic.in. The Class 10th exams are from Feb 15 to March 18, 2025 and Class 12th exam are from Feb 15 to April 4, 2025. The CBSE 10th exam 2025 will start on Saturday with English (Communicative) and English (Language and Literature) and will end on Tuesday with languages, science, mathematics, social science, and vocational courses. The CBSE Class 12 exam 2025 will commence with Entrepreneurship, and will end with Psychology. The CBSE 10th, 12th examinations are conducted in a single shift, starting from 10.30 am. CBSE 10th, 12th practical exams 2025 for regular schools will be held from January 1, 2025. While for the winter bound schools, the practical exams will be conducted from November 5, 2024 to December 5, 2024.

To make the exam process smooth, students must know the Do’s and Dont’s for the exam day. Read the following instructions related to time, documents, and other rules.

Reporting Time: During the board examination, students are expected to reach the examination center at least 5 to 20 minutes before the exam. The first shift will start at 10:30 am and the second shift will start at 2:30 pm.

• Be consistent with the study schedule till the end. 7-8 hours is the ideal duration a student must study before the CBSE Class 10 board exam.
• Try to set a realistic and achievable goal for each study session. For example, complete a certain chapter or topic with a specific time limit.
• The CBSE board follows the CBSE Class 10 Syllabus 2024-25 and a maximum number of questions come from NCERT textbooks. Therefore, focus on NCERT textbooks only instead of other reference books.
• Solve previous year question papers on a regular basis. It will help one to understand the exam pattern, types of questions, and question pattern in a better way.

• Focus on writing skills. Knowing an answer to a question is not enough. One should also know how to deliver that answer in neat, clear and presentable handwriting. Highlight/ underline the important sentences while writing. Maintain a proper margin on every page.

• Time management is also important. Learn it while solving the previous year question papers.

CBSE Class 10, 12 Admit Card 2025 Date

CBSE Class 10 and 12 admit cards will be issued in January 2025. The board will release the admit cards and provide them to schools. The schools will then distribute them to the students. The admit card is an important document that will be required at the entrance. The students without the admit cards will not be permitted to enter the examination hall. Hence, students are advised to carry the admit card on all exam days. The document includes important information about the students. The students will be able to check their names, roll number, parent’s names, school code, exam center name and address. All these details should be checked after collecting the admit card.

CBSE Class 10, 12 Result Date 2025

After the successful completion of board exams, CBSE will release the CBSE Class 10 Result 2025 and CBSE Class 12 Result 2025 in May 2025. The result will be announced online for both the classes. The students will be able to check the result online using their roll numbers. The students will be able to check marks for each subject. They will also get to know the overall marks and percentage in addition to the qualifying status.

CBSE Class 10, 12 Compartment Result Date 2025

The students who were unable to get the pass status in the board exams will get the second chance to pass the exams through compartment exams. After the completion of compartment exams, the board will release the compartment result for classes 10th and 12th in the first week of August 2025. The students who appeared for the compartment exams will only be able to check the result online. The compartment result will be displayed online for the subjects in which students appeared for the compartment exam.

CBSE Class 10, 12 Admit Card Available Date 2025

To appear for the compartment exams, students will have to fill in the compartment examination form. The students who submit the exam form before the deadline will be provided with the compartment exam admit card. The admit cards will include details of students with the subjects in which they are going to appear for the compartment exam. The students will have to collect the compartment exam admit card before going for the exam. Without carrying the compartment exam admit card, students will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
