CBSE Class 12 History Exam Pattern 2024-25
: The Central Board of Secondary Education has revised the exam pattern and increased the number of competency-based questions. Moreover, the number of constructed response questions has decreased by 10%. The same exam pattern is expected to be followed this year as well. The total marks for the History exam are 100 divided into 80 for the theory paper and 20 for the practical.
CBSE 12th History Syllabus 2024-25
contains three units, with each unit having four chapters. The weightage of each unit is equal to 25 marks each and the rest of the five weightage marks in the theory paper are for map work. The theory paper will contain 20% MCQs, 40% competency-based, and 40% subjective-type questions.
