The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) provides the blueprint for Arts, Commerce, and Science and the official website's question paper pattern. One of the major changes that the state board has introduced is the increase in objective-type questions by 10%. This means that the percentage of objective-type questions has increased from 20 to 30 percent, and in descriptive questions, the weightage has declined from 30 to 20 percent.
Students will have to appear for 6 subjects in the exams where the Language papers will be compulsory. The maximum mark allotted for the exam is 100 marks, wherein the theory paper of practical-based subjects will be for 70 marks, and practicals will be for 30 marks. A total of 3 hours will be provided to complete the papers. For almost all the subjects, there will be 4 sections, A, B, C, and D, covering MCQs, very short answer questions, short answer questions, and long answer questions.
