JAC Class 10 English Previous Year Question Paper: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will upload the latest class 10th English previous year question paper on the official website to be downloaded by the students in a PDF format. Every year the JAC 10th English previous year question papers are released for the students to help them know about the latest question paper structure. It will allow the students to know about the marks distribution, maximum weightage carrying topics, and chapters, along with the types, and difficulty level of the questions. The duration of the exam will be three hours and 15 minutes with a total of 80 marks allotted to it. After completing the

As the JAC Class 10 Exams have been scheduled from February 6, 2024 students should start solving the previous year's question papers for better grades. JAC Class 10 English Previous Year Question Paper- Marking Scheme
The latest marking scheme for the JAC 10th English is provided below:- The paper is divided into three sections: Section A: Reading Skills, Section B: Grammar and Writing, and Section C: Literature.
- Section A is of 20 marks. This Section comprises one unseen passage of 200 words with four comprehensive questions of 8 marks, one unseen passage of 300 words with six comprehensive questions of 12 marks.
- Section B is writing and grammar of worth 30 marks. It contains letter writing of 8 marks, and paragraph writing on a given topic of 8 marks. Use of Non finites, sentence connectors, clauses, past tense, etc of 6 marks. Use of Modals for 6 marks and transformation for 4 marks.
- The total number of marks in section C is 40. It contains one passage with 4 comprehension questions of 4 marks and one out of two prose questions from any of the prose lessons of 6 marks. One extract from a poem followed by 4 questions of 4 marks, two out of three short answer type questions of 6 marks. One out of two questions to evaluate in the supplementary reader of 8 marks and one out of two short answer type questions of 2 marks.
