JAC 12th Provision for Grace Marks 2025

The Jharkhand Board offers grace marks to help students who fail by a small margin. The provisions for grace marks are as follows:

  • If a student fails in a subject by less than 5%, they will be awarded grace marks to pass the subject.
  • If a student fails in two subjects by less than 3% in each, they will receive grace marks in both subjects.
  • Students who do not qualify for grace marks under the above conditions but fall short by no more than five marks to secure a higher division will be awarded the minimum marks needed to attain the higher division. However, the final division will be determined by the student's original marks.
