Karnataka Passing Marks for 2nd PUC 2025: Marks Distribution
The Karnataka Government has introduced certain changes wherein the non-practical subjects, it will consider 20 marks as internal in the first and second PUC from the academic year 2023-24. As per these changes, respective teachers will record 20 marks to evaluate the students. Students will be given 10 points for internal evaluation depending on the first and second unit tests and the mid-term exam. From these exams, the best of the two marks will be averaged to 10 points. The remaining 10 points will be evaluated based on project and assignment marks at the college level. Students can check out the marks distribution below.

There will be 20 internal marks for the core subjects like Maths, business studies, economics, languages, and other core subjects. This applies to the 1st and 2nd PUC regular students from the 2023-24 academic year. However, private students and repeaters will have to answer a 100-mark question paper.
