The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has announced the official date sheet for the 2025 Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) exams. According to the schedule, the SSLC (Class 10) exams will start on February 10, 2025, while the HSSLC (Class 12) exams will begin on February 18, 2025. About Meghalaya Board of School of Education
Established in 1973, the Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education is responsible for preparing curriculum and conducting exams for students at different levels. The board conducts exams for students at primary, middle, and secondary levels. MBOSE has schools in different districts. The examination process is managed by NEHU-North East Hills University, which has its head office in Shillong. From 1996 onwards, the University (NEHU) discontinued the Pre-University Course, and the Board took over the management. MBOSE defines the syllabus and exam pattern for each subject on its official website. Based on these notifications, students can optimize their exam preparations. Before the board exams, MBOSE conducts practical examinations for the relevant subjects. MBOSE also issues Admit cards for Class 10th and 12th board students to appear for the exam.
