MBOSE HSSLC Grading System 2025 : MBOSE follows a grading system where grades are divided from A1 to F. Here A1 grade is the highest and F is the lowest grade which is equal to fail. Students scoring between 91-100 will be awarded grade A1 and 10 grade points. A student must obtain a grade of 33% or higher to pass the MBOSE HSSLC exam. The grades and grade points will be mentioned on the marksheet as well which will be released a few weeks after the announcement of MBOSE HSSLC Result 2025 .
The questions are framed in multiple-choice, objective-based questions, and descriptive types. The duration of the written examination is 3 hours. All language papers, both Modern Indian languages and Elective languages have a duration of 3 hours and a total score of 100 marks. Meghalaya HSSLC Passing Marks 2025

For candidates to pass the exam, the board has established passing marks. If a candidate fails any one subject, they are required to appear for the supplementary exam. The information below relates to the MBOSE HSSLC passing marks.
  • To pass the MBOSE HSSLC exam, a student's overall score must be in the 33 percentile and they must have a grade of 33 percentile or above.
  • No subject's minimum passing score will change. It is not required to achieve a score of 33% on both the written and practical exams.
  • The theory paper in HSSLC will have 70 marks and the practicals will carry the remaining 30 marks.
