Odisha Class 12 Passing Marks for Theory and Practical 2025 are 30%. The Council of Higher Secondary Education has also released a new marking scheme to be followed this academic year. For regular students, the theory papers without practical components will be conducted for 80 marks, and with practical components, they will be conducted for 70 marks. A total of 100 marks are provided for every subject included in the curriculum. The remaining marks will be allotted for practical/internal assessment. Out of the 80 marks allotted for most theory papers, the passing marks will be 24. The minimum passing marks out of 70 are 21.

Odisha Class 12 Marking Scheme 2025
A new marking scheme was released by CHSE Odisha, students can refer to the information regarding the latest Odisha CHSE Exam Pattern 2024-25 which will be followed for the academic year 2025 from the pointers given below:
- A new paper pattern will be followed by CHSE Odisha which will apply to the regular students who registered in 2023 only for Arts, Science, Commerce & Vocational Streams.
- The regular students of all streams will appear for the theory along with practical/internal assessment.
- The subjects with practical components will have theory paper for 70 marks and 30 marks will be allotted for the practical exams.
- The subjects without practical components will have 80 marks for theory exams and 20 marks will be allotted for the project.
- For integrated vocational subjects, 50 marks will be allotted for the practical exams and 50 marks will be allotted for the theory exams.
- For vocational trade subjects, 40 marks will be provided for the theory paper and 60 marks will be provided for the practical exams according to the new question paper pattern.
