RBSE Class 10 Hindi Syllabus 2024-25 is now available on the official website of RBSE to be downloaded by the students who are preparing for the board exams. Different sections are included in the syllabus for Hindi. Students will be learning about unseen passages, writing sections, grammar, and textbooks for Hindi. Kshitij and Kritika are the major textbooks that are included in the syllabus by the RBSE Board. Kshitij will be coming for 34 marks followed by Kritika for 10 marks only. The writing section will also carry a lot of marks so it is one of the major sections to be considered by the students apart from the textbook section.

1. Unread Comprehension: 12
- (i) Unread passage (six ultra-short answer questions) (6 questions x 1 mark) = 6

2. Composition: 14
- (1) Essay writing (with options) on any one modern topic based on pointers in about 300 words. (6)
- (ii) Letter-writing (formal/informal letter) (with options) (4)
- (iii) Advertisement writing related to the topic in 25-50 words (with options) (4)
3. Practical Grammar: 10
(Two multiple-choice, six fill-in-the-blank questions, and one short answer question)
- (i) Classification of nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs and adverbs. (4)
- (ii) Prefix and suffix (2)
- (iii) Sandhi and Samas (2)
- (iv) Idioms and proverbs based on the textbook. (2)

- (i) Four questions related to the understanding of the meaning of any one option of any two passages. (4)
- (ii) Four questions related to understanding the meaning of any one option of any two read passages. (4)
- (iii) 2 long answer type questions (1 from prose and 1 from poetry part with option) (60-80 words) 2 questions x 3 marks = 6
- (iv) 4 short answer questions (2 from prose and 2 from poetry) (40 words) 4 questions x 2 marks = 8
- (v) 8 multiple choice questions (4 from prose and 4 from poetry part) 8 questions X 1 Mark = 8
- (vi) Introduction of any one creator (in the option of poet or writer) (80-100 words) (4)
