RBSE 12th Grading System 2025: The Rajasthan board follows a nine-point grading system. The grades are provided to students as per the marks scored by them. The grading system includes A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D, E1, and E2 grades. A1 is the highest grade and E2 is the lowest grade. According to a different range of marks, students are awarded with different grades. The students will be able to check the grades in the RBSE 12th Marksheet 2025. For each subject, the students are provided with grades on the basis of total marks. Some subjects have practical and theory exams, so a total of both exams is taken as total marks. If a subject has both theory and practical exam, the theory exam will be of 70 marks and practical exam will be of 30 marks.

The RBSE 12th Grading system 2025 is a nine-point-scale grading system, with “A1” as the highest grade and “E2” as the lowest. The lowest grade one needs to secure to pass the RBSE Class 12th Board theory examination is ‘D’. Important Points To Remember
- The total time allotted to complete each question paper will be 3 Hours (for All Languages and theory Subjects).
- The maximum marks for the Compulsory subjects i.e. 1st Language & 2nd Language will be 100.
- English and Hindi are compulsory Subjects for the students of the Arts, Science, and Commerce Stream.
- The Elective Subjects ( Excluding PCB) would be judged on 80 marks.
- The Elective Subjects involving practicals will be assessed on 70 Marks and the practicals will hold 30 marks.
- The aggregate score of the five subjects will be taken into consideration.
RBSE 12th Passing Criteria 2025
To pass the Rajasthan 12th Board exams, a student requires a minimum of 33% marks in each subject as well as in aggregate. Only the students with at least 33% marks will be considered "passed", and awarded with a grade 'D'. Hence, it is necessary to secure a "D" grade to qualify for the RBSE 12th exams 2025. Students should note that they are required to score at least 33 marks out of 100 on the Language papers. In the subjects with practical exams, students require 23 marks out of 70. It will also be necessary to pass the practical exams. For Elective subjects ( without Practicals), the students need to score 26 marks out of 80. RBSE 12th Re-evaluation Criteria 2025
RBSE 12th Re-evaluation is a facility available for students who feel that they have been awarded fewer marks than what they were expecting. Such Students can avail the Rajasthan Class 12th Re-evaluation 2025 facility by applying for Revaluation, after making the payment of the required fees on the official website. The students can also apply for a Revaluation process from their respective schools. The details of the prescribed fee is given in the following table:

- The fee for the Revaluation is ₹300 per subject if the application is made within 7 days of the result declaration. The application fee for Revaluation will be ₹600 per subject after 7 days of result declaration. But the Students should make sure to apply before the 10-day lapse, after the result declaration.
- An ID proof is to be uploaded while applying for Revaluation of the results.
- After receiving the Revaluation application, RBSE will initiate the process of result revaluation and consequently, the final result will be released online.
RBSE 12th Supplementary Exams 2025
If students fail to score the minimum passing marks, they will get a second opportunity in the form of supplementary exams. The Rajasthan board will conduct supplementary exams in August 2025. The board will allow students to appear for one or two subjects only in supplementary exams. The students will have to fill the supplementary exam form to appear for the supplementary exam. Only the students who pay the supplementary exam fee and submit the form before the deadline will be provided with the RBSE 12 supplementary admit card.
