Tamil Nadu Class 10 Math Exam Pattern 2025 indicates the marking scheme along with the information about the types of questions and the structure of the question paper. The theory paper in Mathematics will be conducted for a total of 100 marks. 3 hours will be provided to the students to complete the question paper. 15 minutes will be provided to read the question paper. The question paper will be divided into 4 parts and have a total of 47 questions. Part 1 will have 15 MCQs of 1 mark each, Part 2 will have 20 mark very short answer type questions, Part 3 will have 45 mark short answer type questions, and Part 4 will have 20 mark long answer type questions. Tamil Nadu Class 10 Math Question Paper Blueprint 2025
The following pattern will be followed by DGE Tamil Nadu to frame the board question paper:
- The duration of the question paper will be three hours.
- 100 marks will be allotted for the question paper.
- Use Blue or Black ink to write and underline and pencil to draw diagrams.
- The question paper will be divided into four sections.
- In the first section, answer all the questions. Choose the most appropriate answer from the given four alternatives and write the option code and the corresponding answer. There will be 15 MCQs included in this section but no internal choice will be provided to the students.
- In Section 2, answer any 10 questions. Question No. 28 is compulsory. Every question will carry two marks.
- In Section 3, answer any 10 questions. Question No. 42 is compulsory. 5 marks will be provided for every question included in this section.
- Lastly, in Section 4, answer all the questions. There will be 2 questions for 8 marks each. Internal choices will be included in this section.
