UP Board Class 10 Social Science Exam Pattern 2024-25 : The subject is divided into 4 units, namely, History, Geography, Civics or Political Science, and Economics. As per the UPMSP 10th Social Science Blueprint, the weightage of units 1 and 2 is 20 marks each, and of units 3 and 4 is 15 marks each. The theory paper will be conducted for 70 marks and the remaining 30 for Internal assessment. The question paper will have map work, objective-type questions, and short-type questions. UP Board class 10 Social Science syllabus 2024-25 contains a total of 11 chapters. The chapters under India & the Contemporary World - 2 and Contemporary India - 2 carry the highest weightage in the UP Board 10th exam as per the current syllabus.

UP Board Class 10 Social Science Blueprint 2024-25

UP Board Class 10 Social Science 2025 blueprint consists of three sections, Section A, Section B, and Section C. 20 are awarded for objective-type questions in Section A, and 40 marks are awarded for a combination of short and long-type questions in Section B. Section C will have map work. The UP Board Class 10 Social Science internals and practicals constitute a total of 30 marks.
