UP Board Class 12 Biology Exam Pattern 2024-25 is uploaded on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad. The total marks allotted for Biology are 100, out of which 70 marks are allotted for the theory exams and 30 marks are allotted for the practical session. A total of 5 units are included in the UP Board Class 12 Biology Syllabus . The unit with the highest marks, i.e. 18, is allotted to Genetics and Evolution. As per UPMSP 12th Biology Blueprint 2025, the question paper will have MCQs, very short answer type questions, short answer type questions, and long answer type questions of 1, 2, 3, and 5 marks respectively. Students must prepare well for both theory and practical exams to get a high score on their results.

UP Board Class 12 Biology Question Paper Pattern 2024-25
Students must have right information about the format that will be followed by UPMSP to frame the final question paper. Check the details from the pointers given below:
- The duration of the question paper will be 3 hours and 15 minutes.
- The total marks allotted for the theory paper are 70.
- The question paper will consist of MCQs and one-word answers for one mark each.
- Very short answer type questions for 2 marks each will also be present in the question paper.
- Short answer type questions for 3 marks each will be included in the question paper to be answered by the students in a few words.
- Lastly, long answer type questions for 5 marks each will be included in the last question.
