UP Board Class 12 Economics Exam Pattern 2024-25 has been released by Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) at upmsp.edu.in. Last year, some changes were introduced in the UP Board 12th Economics exam pattern. As per the changes, the question paper will have two sections — Section A will have a total of 20 multiple-choice questions for one mark each, while Section B will have descriptive answer-type questions of 50 marks. The UPMSP Class 12 Economics Exam 2025 will be held for 100 marks. The maximum time duration allotted for the exam is 3 hours and 15 minutes.

UP Board Class 12 Economics is one of the major subjects in both Humanities and Commerce stream students. The UP Board 12th students have to appear for a total of 6 subjects. As per the UPMSP 12th blueprint 2024-25, students have to score at least 33% marks in each subject and as aggregate marks to pass the exam. UP Board Class 12 Economics Exam Pattern 2024-25
The UP Board Class 12 Economics syllabus 2024-25 is divided into two sections- Section A which is Introductory Microeconomics and Section B which is Introductory Macroeconomics. Section A comprises 4 units and Section B comprises 5 units, which makes the total of 9 units in the syllabus. UP Board Class 12 Economics Question Paper Blueprint 2024-25
The UP Board Class 12 Economics paper will be conducted for a total of 100 marks which will include two sections, sections A and B. The section A will consist of multiple-choice questions, while Section B will have descriptive answer questions.- Question Number 1-10 will have Multiple Choice Type Questions carrying 1 mark each
- Question Number 11-18 will have Very Short Answer Type Questions carrying 3 marks each
- Question Number 19-24 will have Short Answer Type Questions carrying 6 marks each
- Question Number 25-27 will have Long Answer Type Questions carrying 10 marks each
