CBSE Class 12 Biology Exam Pattern 2024-25:
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) revised the CBSE 12th Biology blueprint. The new pattern is following the National Education Policy 2020. As per the new changes introduced, the CBSE Class 12 Biology Exam Pattern 2024-25 will focus more on competency-based questions including MCQs, and case-based questions. While the number of constructed response questions including short and long answer questions will be less. The percentage of competency-based questions has been increased from 40% to 50%, whereas constructed response questions have been reduced from 40% to 30%. The students are advised to go through the

. The theory paper of the CBSE Class 12 Biology exam will be held for 70 marks and 30 marks will be allotted to the practical exam.
Students appearing for the upcoming CBSE 12th Board exam 2025 can access the CBSE 12th Biology Exam Pattern 2024-25 from the CBSE's official website at cbse.nic.in. The CBSE Class 12 exam 2025 will begin on February 15, 2025, and will continue till April 2025. The detailed

CBSE Class 12 Biology Exam Pattern 2024-25
The maximum marks allotted for CBSE Class 12 Biology Exam 2024-25 will be marks. The theory paper will be conducted for 3 hours and 15 minutes, while the CBSE Class 12 Biology practical exam will be held for 3 hours and 2 hours for the visually impaired students. CBSE Class 12 Biology Practical Blueprint 2024-25
The CBSE Class 12 Biology Practical Exam 2025 will be held between February and March 2025. The maximum marks in the practical exam will be 30 marks. The detailed CBSE Class 12 Biology Practical Exam date sheet 2025 will be provided by the Board in December. The CBSE Class 12 Biology practical blueprint 2024-25 has been tabulated below:

CBSE Class 12 Biology Question Paper Pattern 2024-25
For the academic year 2024-25, there will be more Competency-based questions in the form of MCQs, case-based questions, source-based questions, or any other types. While the short answer/long answer type questions will be of 30%.
