ICSE Class 10 Math Exam Pattern 2024-25 has been released at cisce.org. ICSE Class 10 Math Blueprint 2024-25 comprises a total of 7 units and 22 chapters. Each chapter will carry a mark weightage of 3 to 5 marks except for Section and Mid-Point Formula, Circles and Tangents, Graphical Representation, and Mensuration which will carry the maximum weightage. The ICSE Class 10 Math Exam 2025 will be conducted for 100 marks, out of which 80 marks will be allotted for the theory exam and 20 marks will be based on the internal assessment. ICSE Class 10 Math Exam Pattern 2024-25

Students will be provided with carrying 80 marks one paper of two and a half hours duration and an Internal Assessment of 20 marks. The theory paper has two sections, Section I (40 marks), and Section II (40 marks). Section I will consist of compulsory short answer questions. In Section II, there will be long answer questions with internal choices. Check the evaluation scheme as per ICSE Class 10 Math Blueprint 2025.

6. Statistics (a) Computation of: Measures of Central Tendency: Mean, median, mode for raw and arrayed data.

grouped data. (both continuous and
discontinuous).
(b) Graphical Representation Histograms and Less than Ogive.
7. Probability Random experiments, Sample space, Events, definition of probability, Simple problems on single events.

ICSE Class 10 Math Internal Assessment Blueprint 2024-25

Students will undergo a minimum of two assignments prescribed by the teacher. Some of the suggested assignments by CISCE are mentioned below:

  • Comparative newspaper coverage of different items.
  • Survey of various types of Bank accounts, and rates of interest offered.
  • Planning a home budget.
  • Survey your locality to study the mode of conveyance / Price of various essential commodities / favorite sports.
  • Represent the data using a bar graph/histogram and estimate the mode.  To use a newspaper to study and report on shares and dividends.

Evaluation Scheme

The ISC Class 10 Math project work will be evaluated by the subject teacher and by an External Examiner. (The External Examiner may be a teacher nominated by the Head of the school, who could be from the faculty, but not teaching the subject in the section/class. For example, a teacher of Mathematics of Class VIII may be deputed to be an External Examiner for Class X, Mathematics projects.)

The Internal Examiner and the External Examiner will evaluate the assignments independently.

The total marks obtained by the students out of 20 will be sent to CISCE by the Head of the school. The Head of the school will be in charge of the online entry of marks on CISCE’s CAREERS portal by the due date.

ICSE Class 10 Math Question Paper Pattern 2024-25

The ICSE Class 10 Math theory paper will be conducted for three hours duration and for 80 marks. The ICSE Class 10 Math Question Paper is divided into two sections, Section A and Section B, where each of the sections comprise 40 marks. The question paper will contain Objective questions, Short answer questions, and Long answer questions. All questions will be compulsory except for some internal choice questions.
