JAC Class 12 Geography Syllabus 2024-25 : The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has published the JAC 12 Class Geography syllabus for the academic session 2024-25 on its official website at jac.jharkhand.gov.in. Geography is one of the core subjects for the Jharkhand Board 12th Arts stream students. Out of the 5 compulsory subjects, JAC 12th Geography is very important whose marks will be taken into account. The JAC Class 12 Geography syllabus 2024-25 is divided into two parts, Part A (Fundamentals of Human Geography), and Part B (India: People and Economy).
The JAC Class 12 Geography exam 2025 will be conducted for a total of 100 marks. Out of the total marks, the theory exam will be held for 80 marks, whereas 20 marks are allotted for the practical exam. As per the latest JAC Class 12 exam pattern 2024-25, there will be multiple choice type questions, very short and short-answer type, and long answer type questions. The Jharkhand Board, every year, publishes the JAC Class 12 Geography Syllabus 2024-25 at the very beginning of the academic year on its official website. Follow the steps below to download the Jharkhand Board 12th Geography syllabus from the official website:
- Step 1: Students first have to visit the Jharkhand Board’s official website - jac.jharkhand.gov.in.
- Step 2: Under the "Others" section from the top right dropdown options on the homepage, click on the "Syllabus" option.
- Step 3: You will be redirected to a new window where you will have to click on "Click here to view syllabus".
- Step 4: After that click on "Syllabus for Secondary and Higher Secondary Classes".
- Step 5: Download and save the syllabus pdf for further use.

JAC Class 12 Geography Exam Pattern 2024-25
Students can go through the important points related to the JAC Class 12 Geography Exam here:
- The JAC Class 12 Geography Exam 2025 will be conducted for 100 marks, out of which 70 marks are allotted for theory and 30 marks for the practical exam.
- The Question Paper will be objective-type questions, short-answer-type questions, and long-answer questions.
- Jharkhand Board 12th Geography Question Paper will include 48 questions.
- Question number 1 to 25 will be MCQs. Each question will carry 1 mark.
- Questions number 26 to 34 will be very short answer-type questions. Students need to attempt any 7 questions and each question carries 1 mark.
- Questions 35 to 42 will be short answer type questions, out of which it is mandatory to attempt any 6 questions. Each question will carry 3 marks.
- Question number 43 to 48 will be long answer questions carrying 5 marks each. It is mandatory to attempt any 6 questions.
- All the questions will be compulsory. However, internal choices will be there.
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will release the JAC 12th Exam Date 2025 on its official website. The JAC Board 12th exam 2025 will commence in February 2025 and will be conducted in pen and paper mode.
