Karnataka SSLC Passing Marks 2025:
The
Karnataka School Examinations and Assessments Board has set Karnataka 10th passing guidelines for the students of class 10. Students need to score a minimum of 35% marks overall in both theory and practical exams. They must score passing marks in both theory and practical exams. The theory exams are conducted for 125 marks (first language), 80 marks (second language, third language, and Science subjects), and 100 marks (Mathematics). The students need to score 70 out of 125 marks in the first language, 28 out of 80 marks in the second language, third language, and Science subject. In addition, students need to score at least 30 out of 100 marks in Mathematics.

There will be practical exams or internal assessments for subjects except Mathematics. The internal assessment for the first language will be 25 marks and for the second language, the third language will be 20 marks. Karnataka SSLC Subjects Required to Pass
KSEEB SSLC students have to appear for 6 subjects in board exams. The three subjects include Mathematics, Science, and Social Science) and the rest three are language subjects (first language, second language, and third Language).
- To study Language 1, students can opt for English, Hindi, Urdu, Telugu, Tamil, Sanskrit, and Marathi.
- For Language Paper 2, students can choose between English and Kannada.
- For Language Paper 3, students can select Hindi, English, Urdu, Kannada, Konkani, and Tulu.
- Karnataka SSLC Question Paper for Language - 1 will be 125 marks, and Language - 2 and 3 will be of 80 marks in theory. The first language paper will include an internal assessment of 25 marks and the second and third language will have an internal assessment of 20 marks.
- The theory exam for Science subject will be of 80 marks and the practical exam will be 20 marks.
- Students with learning disabilities can study subjects such as sociology, political science, and economics. The theory exam of these subjects will be of 80 marks and the internal assessment will be of 20 marks.
- There will be no practical exam or internal assessment for Mathematics.

Karnataka SSLC Marking Scheme 2025
Students will have to appear for a total of 6 subjects in Karnataka 10th Board exam 2025. There will be 3 language papers, and 3 compulsory subjects.
