Tamil Nadu Class 12 Geography Exam Pattern 2024-25 will be released on the official website of DGE Tamil Nadu in a PDF format. According to the sample papers uploaded on the official website and as per the previous year's Tamil Nadu Class 12 Geography Blueprint, the question paper will consist of MCQs, very short answer type questions, short answer type questions, and long answer type questions. Internal choices will be included in the question paper. However, there will be no internal choices for the MCQ section. In geography, the theory paper will be conducted for 70 marks and the remaining marks will be provided for internal assessment. A total of 18 units are included in the
Tamil Nadu Class 12 Geography Syllabus 2024-25
. Unit numbers 15 and 16 have the maximum weightage of marks, i.e., 12 and 10 marks, respectively, rest of the units have a weightage of 8 marks each.

Tamil Nadu Class 12 Geography Paper Blueprint 2024-25
Different sets of sample papers are available on the official website of DGE Tamil Nadu for the help of the students. The same structure will be followed to frame the board question paper:
- The duration of the question paper is 3 hours.
- The theory paper will be conducted for 70 marks.
- The question paper is divided into four parts.
- In Part 1st, students need to answer all the questions. Choose the most appropriate answer from the given four alternatives and write the option code and the corresponding answer.
- Students need to answer any six questions in Part 2nd. Question No. 24 is compulsory.
- Students need to answer any six questions in Part 3rd. Question No. 33 is compulsory.
- Five questions for 5 marks each are present in the 4th part. The students are required to answer every question.
