Tamil Nadu Class 12 Biology Exam Pattern 2024-25 : The biology subject is divided into 2 parts, i.e., Botany and Zoology. Two separate exams will be conducted for both the subjects. The marking scheme and the number of questions, along with the type of questions, will be the same in both papers. A total of 70 questions will be asked, out of which only 56 need to be answered. The question paper will have 30 MCQ type questions of 1 mark each, 20 very short answer type questions of 3 marks each and only 15 need to be answered, 12 short answer type questions of 5 marks each and only 7 are to be answered, and in the last section, students will get 8 long answer type questions of 10 marks each and 4 are to be answered. Before appearing in the exams, students must solve Tamil Nadu Class 12 Biology Previous Year Question Paper to understand the marking scheme and know the types of questions asked in the exam.

Tamil Nadu Class 12 Botany Exam Pattern 2024-25
The TN Class 12 Botany exam is conducted for 150 marks, and students must complete the paper within 3 hours. There will be four sections on the question paper. There is a set number of questions from each section that students must attempt. Tamil Nadu Class 12 Botany and Zoology Question Paper Pattern 2025
Sections 1 to 4 comprise the four sections in each of the two parts. Both the zoology and botany of the papers have the same number of questions. There are a total of 70 questions, out of which 56 are to be answered.- Section 1 consists of 30 objective-type questions of 1 mark each. All the questions in this section are MCQs.
- Section 2 corresponds to short answer type questions of 3 marks each. There are 20 questions in this section.
- Section 3 of the question paper consists of 12 long answer type questions of 5 marks each.
- Section 4 consists of 8 questions of very long answer type of 10 marks each.
