CBSE Class 12 Political Science Deleted Syllabus 2024-25: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) reduced the CBSE 12th Political Science syllabus 2024-25 by 30% for the 2020-21 academic year. The Board will continue with the 30% reduction for the current AY 2024-25. The deleted portions of CBSE Class 12 Political Science Syllabus 2024-25 includes two chapters from Contemporary World Politics and five chapters from Politics in India Since Independence. The Cold War Era and US Hegemony in World Politics have been eliminated from the first part. From the Second Part, Chapter 2: Era of One-party Dominance, Chapter 3: Politics of Planned Development, Chapter 6: The Crisis of Democratic Order, Chapter 7: Rise of Popular Movements, and Chapter 9: Recent Developments in Indian Politics have been deleted.

CBSE will conduct the CBSE Class 12 Board 2024 from February 15, 2025, which will continue till April 2025. CBSE Class 12 Political Science theory exam will be conducted for a total of 80 marks, and 20 marks will be for the practical exam. CBSE Class 12 Political Science Syllabus comprises two parts, Part A - Contemporary World Politics and Part B - Politics in India since Independence. Students must practice CBSE Class 12 Political Science Sample Paper 2024-25 after completing the syllabus. Both the parts will carry 40 marks each.
