BSF established in 1965, is a group among CRPF and is responsible for protecting the borders of India from external threats and they prevent the illegal movement of goods and services.

The NSG was formed in the year 1984 and is responsible for protecting and fighting terrorism and other threats. The group is trained to counter-terrorism, rescue hostage and protect VIPs

Below mentioned are the steps for filling out the application form
CAPF acts as the most resilient and brave security personnel so, its recruitment is conducted by strictly maintaining certain qualifying parameters. UPSC conducts recruitment examinations to hire these officers. The candidates applying through UPSC have to undergo four significant phases which will be discussed below:
The first phase in UPSC CAPF recruitment is a written examination. Candidates need to send an online application to participate in the test. Candidates need to prepare topics on general awareness, logical reasoning, math, English language and general studies. There will be two papers in CAPF; the first will be objective while the second one is descriptive in nature.
Candidates, after qualifying the written test, have to undergo a physical standard test. AS CAPF personnel need to possess great physical prowess, physical activities like jumping, running, throwing etc. will be organised at this stage of the selection process.
This is another crucial stage involved in the CAPF selection process. Those who have qualified for the PET are not only allowed to take part in the medical test. In this test, candidates will be examined and judged based on their mental and physical fitness.
This is the last and final round whereby candidates are assessed on their personality, interpersonal skills and presence of mind. A panel of senior officers will take the interview, and the final selection will be based on scores obtained by candidates in each of the four stages.
