About GGSIPU

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is a public university located in Dwarka, Delhi, India. It was established in the year 1998 by the Government of NCT of Delhi. The name of GGSIPU is named after the tenth Sikh guru, Guru Gobind Singh. GGSIPU is an affiliating and teaching university, with over 100 affiliated colleges and institutes offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various fields.

Eligibility Criteria for IPU CET

Before taking admission to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University,  interested candidates have to qualify university’s entrance examination which is IPU CET. Below are the eligibility criteria for the IPU CET Examination.

For UG programs: The candidate must clear 10 +2 with a minimum of  55% from any recognized board.

For PG programs: The candidates appearing for admission in PG programs must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 55% from any recognized university or college. 

Age: The maximum and minimum age limit is 21 and 18 years for taking admission in UG courses. And for PG courses there is no age limit.

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Eligibility Criteria For B.Tech

  • The candidate must clear 10 +2 with a minimum of 55% from any recognized board
  • The candidate must have English as a core subject.
  • The candidates who appeared for NTA will be shortlisted on the basis of merit achieved in the examination.

Eligibility Criteria For B.Tech (Biotechnology)

  • The candidate must clear 10 + 2 with a minimum of 55% from a recognized board. 
  • The candidate must have Physics, mathematics, chemistry, and biology or Biotechnology as main/ core subjects.

Eligibility Criteria For M.Tech

The candidate must have a degree of B.Tech, B.E, AMIE, MCA M.Sc in the field related to engineering with a minimum of 50 % from any recognized university or college.

Eligibility Criteria For MBA

The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50%  from any recognized university or college.

Eligibility Criteria For MCA

  • The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% for the general category and 55% for SC/ST from any recognized university or college.
  • The candidate must have Mathematics and English subjects during their 10+2.

Eligibility Criteria For LLM

  • The candidate must have an LLB or similar degree with a minimum of 50 % from any recognized university or college.
  • Candidate should have English as a core subject.
