PARAKH Full Form

PARAKH's full form is Performance Assessment, Review, and Analysis of Knowledge for Historic Development. It is a new National Assessment Center which was established under NEP 2020 as a standard-setting body. The motive for establishing PARAKH was to enhance the complete evaluation system in India and was established by PM Narendra Modi.

What is the Full Form of PARAKH?

As mentioned above the full form of PARAKH is Performance Assessment, Review, and Analysis of Knowledge for Historic Development. The PARAKH was formed under the national education policy of 2020. PARAKH is also known as the development of the National Measurement Centre. PARAKH is a standard body that is formed for establishing basic norms. It is recommended to be used in the student assessment process. It is used for assessment and facilitation to improve learning. PARAKH is mainly concerned with the assessment and development of students in all accreditation institutions. PARAKH will assist in student assessments in all schools and lead to the development of best practices in children's education.PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the National Assessment Centre for Students or PARAKH on 11 September 2020. The project aims to increase student success and reduce student burden.

• The policy will help in implementing common procedures for creating, administering, and analyzing all examinations or tests conducted at the school level.

• PARAKH will develop and implement standards for the design, administration, analysis, and publication of educational tests at all levels of education given in schools,
• The policy also aims to promote an integrated, collaborative, and collaborative learning approach that includes experiential learning, conceptual research, stakeholder engagement, and lessons learned from best practices.
• The PARAKH is a progressive shift that results in providing a scientific approach
• The PARAKH’s structure will help in meeting the child's potential which consists of cognitive development level as well as social and physical skills.

• It focuses on adopting and learning business skills so that students can be more successful in business and find as many jobs related to the field of business. 
• PARAKH believes in providing and promoting practical knowledge more than theory knowledge.
• It will also help in reducing the burden on students by implementing a smooth assessment and evaluation process.
• Develop standards, norms, and guidelines for student assessment and evaluation methods for schools in India.
• Encourage schools to adopt assessment models that meet the needs of skills required in the 21st century.

• Eliminates cramming education: The policy will improve children's learning and help them understand the real situation. Rather than completing the course, it will also help to establish learning principles and improve students understanding.
• Providing and promoting practical knowledge: The PARAKH provides students to learn practically by visiting computer labs, science labs, botanical labs, zoology labs, etc. Thus through this students will not feel dependent on theory knowledge.
• Reduces burden on students: Due to the burden of exams, students become depressed and start feeling anxious. This policy helps reduce the burden on students by following the student assessment and evaluation process correctly.
• Industry Education: Provides education in a way that teaches students business-related subjects such as math, physics, science, and other technical subjects. These courses are not only useful for school but also for colleges and jobs.
