PARAKH's full form is Performance Assessment, Review, and Analysis of Knowledge for Historic Development. It is a new National Assessment Center which was established under NEP 2020 as a standard-setting body. The motive for establishing PARAKH was to enhance the complete evaluation system in India and was established by PM Narendra Modi.

As mentioned above the full form of PARAKH is Performance Assessment, Review, and Analysis of Knowledge for Historic Development. The PARAKH was formed under the national education policy of 2020. PARAKH is also known as the development of the National Measurement Centre. PARAKH is a standard body that is formed for establishing basic norms. It is recommended to be used in the student assessment process. It is used for assessment and facilitation to improve learning. PARAKH is mainly concerned with the assessment and development of students in all accreditation institutions. PARAKH will assist in student assessments in all schools and lead to the development of best practices in children's education.PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the National Assessment Centre for Students or PARAKH on 11 September 2020. The project aims to increase student success and reduce student burden.
