TS Full Form

TS's full form is Telanaga State. Telangana is a landlocked state in India that is situated on the south-central stretch of the Indian peninsula on the high Deccan Plateau. It is the 11th largest and 12th most populous state of India.

What is the Full Form of TS?

As mentioned above the full form of TS is Telangana State. It is a state in South India. Telangana is the eleventh largest state and the twelfth most populated state in India. It was separated from  Andhra Pradesh which is located in northwest India on June 2, 2014. The current State minister of Telangana is K. Chandrashekar Rao. It is bordered by Chhattisgarh to the northeast, Andhra Pradesh to the west, Maharashtra to the north, and Karnataka to the east. The vast forest state of Telangana covers an area of ??27,292 square kilometers. The major cities of Telangana are Warangal, Sidipet, Nizamabad, Kamam, Karimnagar, and Ramagondan. In 2019, Telangana was divided into 33 districts. The state is known for its rich heritage, which includes many monuments, temples, and forts. Telangana State is also popular for its beauty which consists of many rivers, lakes, and forests. The state also has rich mineral resources with large deposits of coal, iron ore, and limestone. The state is also known for agriculture; Many crops such as rice, cotton, and sugar are grown in the state.

History of TS

Ancient Telangana was ruled by many powerful states such as the Mauryan Dynasty, Satavahanas Dynasty, Chalukya Dynasty, Chola Dynasty, Rashtrakuta Dynasty, and others. It was dominated by the Mughal Empire in the 16th and 17th centuries and by the Nizam in the 18th century. In 1823, the Nizam lost control of the Andhra Pradesh and Rayalasema coasts and ceded it to the East India Company. In 1948, Telangana joined the Union of India after the police occupation. In 1956, Telangana was merged with Andhra Pradesh to form a new state called Andhra Pradesh. After years of struggle and struggle, the central government decided to divide Andhra Pradesh into two separate states and the federal government passed a bill to create Telangana. In terms of business, culture, and history, it has a history of more than 2,500 years.

Formation of TS 

On July 30, 2013, the Congress Committee passed a resolution calling for the establishment of an independent Telangana state (TS full form). After going through several stages, the bill was passed in the Indian Parliament in February 2014. In February 2014, the Indian Parliament passed the "Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act 2014" to create Telangana, which has 10 districts in the north-west of Telangana. This bill was approved by the President and published in the Gazette on 1 March 2014. The state of Telangana was established on 2 June 2014. After the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) won the majority in the elections, Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao was elected the first chief minister of Telangana. It was decided Hyderabad would remain the capital of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. But later after a few years, Andra Pradesh chose Amaravati as the new capital. 

Literacy Rate of TS

According to the 2011 census, the literacy rate in Telangana is 66.46%. The literacy rates of men and women are 74.95% and 57.92%, respectively. Hyderabad district has the highest literacy rate at 80.96%, while Mahabnagar district has the lowest literacy rate at 56.06%.

Religion in TS

According to the 2011 census, Hindus comprise up to 85.1% of the state's population. Muslims have 12.7 percent and Christians have 1.3 percent.
