RCB Full Form

RCB full form is  Royal Challengers Bangalore. It is the cricket team that represents Bangalore, Karnataka. It plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL). It was initially started by the name ‘United Spirits’ in 2008 and was provided the moniker Royal Challenge after its liquor line. The M. RCB full form is Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Indian Premier League, a Twenty20 tournament which began in 2008 was announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in September 2007. The various teams for the competition, which included Bangalore and others representing eight different Indian towns, were auctioned off in Mumbai on February 20, 2008. The owner ‘Vijay Mallya’ spent Rs. 111.6 million dollars to acquire the Bangalore franchise. How was RCB Named?

Vijay Mallya wished to connect the franchise to promote one of his best-selling liquor brands- McDowell's No. 1 or Royal Challenge. The name comes from the choice of the ‘Royal Challenge’ brand. The earlier version of the logo included the RC insignia in yellow on a round red base surrounded by the black phrase "Royal Challengers Bangalore'' in a standardized manner. The notable modification to the logo's design was in 2009 with the substitution of gold for yellow color. The RC insignia was also encircled by a dotted white circle in the logo. With many modifications, a new design with a larger lion and the crown from the former emblem was released in 2020.

Royal Challengers Bangalore or RCB was established in 2008. It is a team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) which is also called a professional Twenty-20 cricket league in India. The team represents Bangalore city in the state of Karnataka and plays its home matches at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Since its inception in 2008, the team has been a part of the IPL. The Royal Challengers Bangalore team is owned by the ‘United Spirits Limited’ which is a subsidiary of the Diageo group. The RCB team is captained by Virat Kohli and is coached by Simon Katich.
