What is the Course Duration of IGCSE?

It is for 2 years of duration which starts from class 9th. The Cambridge International Education (CIE) has also launched a programme called the Cambridge International Primary Programme. During the programme the students are asked to choose a minimum of 5 courses and the maximum limit goes up to 14 courses

Different Types of IGCSE Examinations

  • Cambridge IGCSE: In India, the examination is held in the months of February, May and October. A qualification certificate is provided by the International Certificate of Education (ICE) to those who passed a minimum of 7 subjects.It consists of 70+ topics and 30 languages are available.
  • EDEXCEL International GCSE: They provide regular learning to students and teachers through advanced and effective methods/techniques. The examination is conducted in the months of January and June.
  • Oxford AQA International GCSE: They conduct examinations as a joint venture which is between AQA and Oxford University Press in the month of May or June and in November every year

The IGCSE curriculum includes one stage of examination for each subject and according to the students performance they will be graded on a scale from A to G where A is highest and G is lowest The examinations are conducted in the months of June and November.
