The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) was established in the year 1975. The objective of establishing SSC was to create a body to select the right candidates for Group B and Group C posts for different ministries in the Indian Government. SSC CPO Paper I comprises 200 questions from English comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and General Awareness. There are 50 questions in each section to answer and candidates get 120 minutes. Candidates are given 1 mark for each correct attempt and .25 marks are deducted for each wrong attempt.
